These high retention USB 3.0 adapters / couplers ECF504-30-UAAS-HR are using an efficient ECF style flange mount design. This USB 3.0 A Type to A Type adapter (coupler) is used to prevent accidental disconnects for critical applications.

The panel mount USB 3.0 adapter ECF504-30-UAAS-HR is a high retention, silver coupler with a A type female to an A type female design. built with a shielded, chrome plated housing. This Silver A Type Female to A Type Female Adapter Coupler is rated for USB 3.0. High retention A type jacks provide a mating force of 40N max and an un-mating force of 15N min while A type jacks provide a mating force of 60N max and an un-mating force of 15N min. Our A Type Female to A Type Female Adapter Coupler is 50% higher than standard USB ports making it difficult to unintentionally unplug your cable. These high retention USB 3.0 adapters / couplers ECF504-30-UAAS-HR work with standard USB connectors and do not require special plugs.
